MD Özlem GÜNGÖR TUNÇER

Özlem Güngör Tunçer graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine with honors in 2000. She completed her specialty training at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurology, with her thesis titled "Comparison of clinical, laboratory and treatment responses in MuSK antibody positive, MuSK antibody negative and seropositive myasthenia gravis".

In 2004, she was an observer at the Neuromuscular Diseases / Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Clinics and EMG laboratory at Duke University Medical School, Durham, North Carolina, USA, Department of Neurology, for 3 months.

He continued his studies on occupational diseases and toxic polyneuropathies at Ankara Occupational Diseases Hospital in 2007-2008, and completed his compulsory service at Sakarya Yenikent State Hospital in 2008-2009.

He started working as a Neurology Specialist at Florence Nightingale Hospitals in 2009, and continued his work as an Assistant Professor at Demiroğlu Science University, Department of Neurology in 2012.

In 2013, he completed Istanbul University DETAE Neuroscience Electro-Neuro-Physiology Master's program with his thesis titled "Evaluation of facial and extremity muscle responses with sequential nerve stimulation test in Anti-MuSK antibody positive Myasthenia Gravis patients".

He received the title of associate professor of neurology in 2015 and continued his studies at Şişli Florence Nightingale Hospital and Demiroğlu Science University. Özlem Güngör Tunçer received the title of professor in 2020 and currently continues her studies at Arel University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurology and Memorial Şişli Hospital, Department of Neurology.
